rue du Chapitre / Kapittelstraat 31, 1070 Anderlecht, OUEST / WEST, Belgium
The history of the museum at the Erasmus House is closely tied in with that of the Chapter of Anderlecht (16th century). Desiderius Erasmus of Rotterdam stayed at this house in 1521.
Today, the collections form a unique collection illustrating assorted stages in European history : the Renaissance, the reign of Charles Quint, the Humanist movement, the flowering of printing and burgeoning religious conflict.
